The Snowbox V2S is made of Anodised aluminium. This is both lightweight and easy to clean. Metal can be very heavy, so not great to carry around in your pocket, but Anodised Aluminium is far lighter so it’s hard to know it’s even there. The chassis feels nice to hold in your palm. It’s a good size around 8cm long and 5cm wide. This is about the same size as a bank card. The shape fits in the hand well so you can grip the outsides firmly; with little chance of a slip up. The embossed lines on the lid are easy for your thumb to find so it slides back with little effort. The first thing I asked myself when I saw the Snowbox was “what’s the precision like?”. A luxury snuff kit like this needs to be precise. If a kit like this doesn’t have a tight fit then there will be leakage, and that’s a big no no in this game. But I was impressed as how nice and tight the Snowbox V2S fits together. The Snowbox is also very thin. Much thinner than I expected. 8mm is pretty thin for a snuff kit.
When I tested my Snowbox V2S I found it easy to use. But it was the look and feel of it that really sold me. The Anodised Aluminium materials gives is a soft but strong feel. I knew my stuff inside was safe because of the precision of the design. The lid slides open when you want it, but also softly closes back into place because of the magnets inside. My friends were instantly mesmerised by this strange device that resembled a cigarette case from old but now has this new special use. As a functional tool it works good and makes using your snuff convent and easy. It’s also great for sharing with others in while retaining full control of your kit. The price is good coming in at a lower price point to the other high end kits on the market.
